From Teachers:
- I worked on the company’s website building templates and 3Dgraphics in a three-
point perspective—something I have never done before using Adobe software. I will
use this experience to create new lessons on perspective. - I plan to incorporate more styles of Asian dishes that require complex sauces and
flavors and how to breakdown down seafood. For my students to complete these
dishes with the correct tools, we will need woks. - Overall, this externship experience to enrich and augment my lessons in the classroom
is priceless. I have always been an advocate for the marginal student, teaching them
lessons of success and skills not in textbooks. Such lessons can be an integral part of
learning to grow personally and academically. - Able to connect auto and welding which will expand the program to include new skills.
From Employer:
This is a fantastic experience for both parties involved. Having your educators spend
time in any restaurant aids in broadening their scope while simultaneously exposing
different ideas and perspectives to restaurant staff in a field where change is constant.
I was thrilled by the prospect of giving a teacher this opportunity. He had a positive
impact on my staff. I loved watching Brian employ his methods with my staff; they
were open to what he had to say, and in return, he was receptive to their ideas and
feedback.
I look forward to being involved with other educators in this capacity in the future.
