The Sundt Foundation has partnered with Pima JTED to support strong CTE programs related to the Construction Field. We are offering $3,000 – $5,000 Sundt Minigrants for construction related CTE classrooms across JTED and all member districts.
The following CTE classes are considered eligible to apply:
- Construction and the Trades
- Welding
- Electronic Technologies
- Carpentry
- HVAC
- Stagecraft**
Applications are open from October 12 – November 6, with funds disbursed through CTE Directors in January. Teachers can apply directly with approval from their CTE Directors.
Funding can be used to support:
- Tools
- Equipment
- Professional Development and Instructor Upskilling
- Class Tours or Site Visits
- Certification Costs
- Summer Opportunities for Teachers or Students
- Student Recognitions
- Career Expo or Job Fair Events
- Event Support Including Food
