• Students who participate in at least one CTE class graduate above the state average.
• Students who complete 2 consecutive CTE classes at a JTED affiliated program graduate at 96%, over 20 percentage points higher than the average graduation rate of Pima County (74%).
• Nationally, data shows that students who participate in CTE are more prepared for next steps in college and career than their peers, and they outperform peers who did not take CTE.
• Most CTE students in the JTED district go on to post-secondary education, either at the certification, associate’s or bachelor’s level, but most are able to go to work at the same time.
