The JTED Foundation seeks to foster a thriving CTE ecosystem across all JTED member districts. Our purpose is to serve all of the 30,000+ CTE students in our network, and the teachers and programs that drive their success. There are multiple ways to access program-level support to strengthen and expand the excellent work you do.

Direct Support Grants

The JTED Foundation offers $25,000 to $50,000 grants in direct support to strengthen and grow CTE programs related to the industrial trades across our member districts, especially those serving low income and rural students.

New Teacher Training Opportunities

JTED Foundation offers a summer Jumpstart program for new or 1st year instructors in programs related to the industrial trades. This program provides a stipend for off-contract time setting up classrooms, getting acquainted with equipment, meeting with a veteran teacher mentor, and taking foundational PD summer courses. Please encourage your qualifying teachers to apply.

Targeted PD by Cluster

The JTED Foundation supports targeted PD for instructors to come together by cluster to review program standards, strengthen teaching best practices, and share resources. Individual instructors must complete all required Premier Course PD classes to be eligible to participate. Districts can apply for stipends related to the cost of substitutes.

Transformation Summit

Member superintendents and CTE Directors are invited to join.

Build the Strategy

You know your programs, teachers, students, and district better than anyone. What unmet needs are you facing? What trends are you seeing? What would make your programs have greater impact? What will help you grow? The JTED Foundation actively seeks member input to drive strategy and fundraising goals. If you have something you want to share, please reach out to set up a conversation or meeting.
