Pima JTED Foundation awards scholarships of up to $5,000 to eligible graduating seniors who have completed a CTE/JTED program and will continue their education at a post-secondary institution.


Criteria to Apply:

  1. Student must be a graduating senior
    • Students who have completed a CTE/JTED Program before their senior year may apply during their senior year
  2. Student must be a concentrator in a Pima JTED (Central or Satellite Campus) Program
    • A concentrator is defined as a student who has earned at least two credits in the same program area
  3. Student must have a minimum 3.0 GPA in their CTE Program of Concentration
  4. Student must enroll in post-secondary education institution upon graduation
  5. Student must have participated in the CTE Program, CTSO program, or be a central student dual enrolled at Pima Community College (PCC) with the following programs:
    • Automotive Technologies, Aviation Technology, Computer Numerical Control (CNC) & Machine Inspection (Precision Manufacturing), Computer Information Systems, Computer Aided Design (CAD), Welding Technology.
  6. Student must upload high school transcript
  7. Student must complete and upload the Permission to Publish Form CLICK HERE
  8. Student must submit an essay that addresses the following:
    • Describe your growth (personally, socially, educationally) throughout your experiences in your CTE/JTED Program.
      • Explain any challenges or obstacles you overcame during your high school career. This could include any financial issues, the extra time needed for your CTE Program as well things you had to give up to take the program. This question must be answered even if you do not feel you had any challenges or obstacles.
