Workplace Award – $2000 SME Tucson Chapter

$2,000 to student who will directly enter the workforce, and is pursuing a career within the mining industry, for tools, equipment and certifications.

Rules of Participation:

1. Must have completed JTED program in one of the following areas: Engineering – Aerospace and Mining Technology, Construction Technology, Heavy Equipment Operations, Welding, Mechanical Drafting, Automation/Robotics-Logistics, Optic, AI, Automotive Technology
2. Submit a letter of recommendation from their JTED instructor along with the application (no GPA criteria for this award)
