Society for Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration (SME) Tucson Chapter Scholarship

SME awards scholarships of up to $3,000 to eligible student(s) pursuing further education in a course of study which supports the mining industry.

Student(s) must have completed JTED program in one of the following areas: Engineering – Aerospace and Mining Technology, Construction Technology, Heavy Equipment Operations, Welding, Mechanical Drafting, Automation/Robotics-Logistics, Optic, AI, Automotive Technology

Mining Foundation of the Southwest

Mining Foundation of the Southwest awards $1,000 to an eligible student pursuing further education in a course of study which supports the mining industry.

Student must have completed JTED program in one of the following areas: Engineering – Aerospace and Mining Technology, Construction Technology, Heavy Equipment Operations, Welding, Mechanical Drafting, Automation/Robotics-Logistics, Optic, AI, Automotive Technology

Southern Arizona Construction Career Days (SACCD) Scholarship/Workplace Award

SACCD sponsors scholarships/workplace awards of up to $5,000 to eligible student(s) pursuing further education in a course of study which supports the construction industry or for eligible students entering the workforce upon graduation who can demonstrate a need for tools, equipment, licensure or fees required to work in the field.
